Titt-Tei Café & Playroom – Terms & Conditions

Titt-tei AS (org. no. 934272188), located at Børsteveien 13, 0585 Oslo, is the owner and operator of the Titt-tei café and playroom.
These terms outline the rules for using both the café and the play area.

The café and playroom are open according to the hours listed on our website.
Please note that opening hours may change. All updates are published on our website and social media channels.

All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
The play area is primarily designed for children aged 0–6.
Older children are welcome, but we kindly ask for extra caution around younger guests.
Socks are required in the play area — for both children and adults.
Personal toys are not allowed inside the wooden structure or the ball pit.
Toys must not be brought into the café or restrooms.
Please help us keep the space tidy by returning toys after use.
Photography is only permitted of your own child. Please respect the privacy of other families and do not photograph other children without their parent’s permission.

Food and drinks may only be consumed in the café area.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed, with the exception of food and milk for babies.
Parents are welcome to use our bottle warmer and microwave, both available in the café.
If your child has any allergies or food sensitivities, please inform our staff before ordering.
While we take great care, Titt-tei AS cannot guarantee that products are completely free of trace allergens.

Parents and guardians are fully responsible for their child’s safety.
Children may only use the play area if the adult responsible for them remains in the café and has a seat.
It is strictly prohibited to drop off a child and leave the premises.
Titt-tei AS is not liable for injuries resulting from improper use of the play facilities.
The responsible adult is also liable for any damage to furniture, equipment, toys, or other property belonging to Titt-tei.
Guests are financially responsible for any damage or additional cleaning caused by spills or accidents, including the cleaning of carpets, cushions, or textiles.
If you or your child are sick, we kindly ask you to stay home out of consideration for others. We wish you a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Being under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants is not permitted at Titt-tei.
Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited anywhere inside or around the premises.
Occasionally, we may take photos for marketing purposes (e.g., website or social media). If your child is clearly identifiable, we will always ask for your permission before publishing.
In cases of aggressive or unsafe behavior, staff reserves the right to ask guests to leave.
We also reserve the right to deny entry to guests who violate these rules.

Use of the play area is subject to the pricing listed on our website and in the café.
Children under 6 months of age enter free of charge.
Sibling discount: Families receive a 20% discount on admission for the second and each additional child.
Parents and guardians do not need to purchase a ticket.
We accept card payments and other available payment methods at the counter.

We offer a punch card – a card with 10 entries to the playroom + 10 coffees (barselklubb).
The punch card is valid Tuesday–Friday between 10:00–14:00.
Each punch includes 1-hour access to the playroom + 1 standard coffee.
The card is valid for 2 months from the date of purchase.
The price follows the current price listed on the website.
All punches must be used within the validity period – unused punches will expire.
The punch card is non-refundable, non-extendable, and cannot be exchanged.
The punch card is not personal.
The card is purchased at the counter and issued as a physical card, stamped for each visit.
To use a punch, the card must be shown at the counter upon arrival.
Lost or stolen punch cards cannot be replaced.

Customers may choose the value of the gift card.
Gift cards can be used for all products and services at Titt-tei — including the café, playroom entry, and small gifts.
The card is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
Gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be extended.
Gift cards can only be purchased at the café.
Gift cards can only be purchased at the café. To use a gift card, simply show it at the counter when you arrive.
Titt-tei AS is not responsible for lost or misplaced gift cards.

Booking is required for birthday parties, private events, and larger groups.
Full booking and cancellation terms are included in our party offer.
If you wish to reserve a table at a specific time, please contact us by phone or email.
If you are running late, we kindly ask that you send us a message or give us a call — we understand it’s not always easy to be on time with kids.
Without notice, your reservation will be held for 15 minutes, after which the table may be given to other guests.

Please do not leave valuables unattended.
Titt-tei AS is not responsible for lost or forgotten items left on the premises.

Dogs are welcome in the café area but are not allowed in the play area for safety reasons and due to potential allergies among children and guests.
Owners are fully responsible for their dogs and must consider the presence of children and guests who may be afraid of animals.
If a dog behaves inappropriately or disturbs other guests, our staff reserves the right to ask the owner to remove the dog from the premises.

Titt-tei AS does not offer individual or verbal agreements regarding parking.
Guests are responsible for their own parking and must follow all local signs and regulations.
Titt-tei AS is not liable for any incidents involving guest vehicles or for any events occurring in or around parking areas.

By using the playroom and café, you agree to the terms outlined in this document.

The rules may be updated at any time. The current version published on our website is always the one in effect.
